We found wine and water waiting in the fridge when we arrived, along with a Nespresso machine in the apartment. The newly remodeled place has lots of thoughtful touches, like the shelf above the bathroom sink. The one-bedroom apartment with a city view was especially nice. It had a washing machine, cooktop, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and oven, plus well-marked pods for both the dishwasher and washing machine. The owners were kind and welcoming. Until the new reception area is finished, the coffee shop downstairs is where you check in. Old Town is an easy walk away, but the apartment stays away from the noise there.
We used the studio as a home base for four nights, heading out on day trips around the area with my daughter. Buses were easy to catch nearby, and we could walk from the train station. The street was quiet at night, but one block away you were back in the action. It was an ideal location and a great place to stay for a Nice vacation. The studio looked just like the pictures. It had a double bed, sofa, table and two chairs, plus a kitchenette with fridge, coffee makers, sink, stove, and washing machine. We used everything except the stove. The furnishings and appliances all felt new and high end, so it felt like home. The air conditioning worked incredibly well on hot summer days in the south of France. The lighting, mirrors, and furnishings were great, the bathroom was modern and well lit, and the shower had good pressure. The hallway, stairs, and room were all impeccably clean. I met the staff a couple of times when I couldn’t open the safe, and when they kindly held our suitcase so we could fit in one more day trip. They were so kind. They’re working on a little street-level cafe, which looks like it’s coming along nicely. I wish them lots of success with this apartihotel!
The apartment was well located, with the Durandy tram stop just five minutes away. It was another five minutes to the market and seafront, and there was a supermarket two minutes around the corner, with bars and restaurants close by. The onsite staff were fantastic, attentive, and helpful. The owners communicated really well, and check-in and check-out were easy. The kitchen had cutlery, pots, pans, cups, and glasses, plus a kettle and coffee machine. We stayed three nights and had a great time.
We had a great stay in a really cute room. The staff were friendly, and I’d highly recommend it when visiting Nice!
