The staff were friendly and helpful, and even let us leave our bags after checkout so we could keep enjoying the city. My partner and I stayed here on a recent trip to Nice. It’s a small hotel in a great spot, right by the city centre and a pleasant 15-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are small and a bit dated, but for a short stay the price and quality work well. The only change I’d suggest is letting you connect your phone to the TV to use other apps. We were told that wasn’t possible, though it’s a minor point.

The mattress was unbelievably hard. Calling it firm wouldn’t come close. And both mornings I got a freezing shower because I couldn’t find a drop of hot water during my two-day stay. The location was good, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and a decent size. One thing to know if stairs are difficult for you: even though there’s an elevator, it stops between floors, so you still need to go up or down half a flight to reach yours.

My first night was sleepless because the air conditioner in my room was broken and made loud noises all night. After I was moved to another room, my back and legs started itching badly. A local pharmacist confirmed the marks were bed bug bites. I raised the health issue with the hotel, but they brushed it off as mosquito bites and showed no urgency or accountability. The discomfort and rash ruined my holiday, and the lack of action made things worse. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The place failed to provide a safe, hygienic environment and didn’t take my concerns seriously. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid it until its maintenance and cleanliness problems are addressed.

The staff were friendly, calm, and so helpful, and our rooms were cleaned every day. It’s a simple hotel with everything you need, close to town and the beach. A lovely base for exploring, eating, and shopping. Thank you ☀️
