Apollinaire Nice Hotel

The location made everything convenient, from restaurants and shopping to the Old city and Promenade. We had a lovely, quiet room with a beautiful city view, and it was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice and was a great way to start each day. We also really appreciated the water refill station and the concierge team’s helpful tips. The staff were welcoming and attentive from beginning to end. It was a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely return.

The front desk team were great, and Samantha deserves a special mention for being outstanding. The rooms were a good size, and the location was perfect. A real hotel gem, with great service. Strongly recommend.

Hotel Apollinaire Nice is my first choice in Nice, and will stay that way. I like that it’s in the Jean Medecin area, easy to reach by tram from the airport, and close to shops, cafes, restaurants, bakeries and public transport. You can also get to the Promenade des Anglais easily for a run. There’s an inner courtyard, fitness room, breakfast buffet and a bar open throughout the day. The service is extremely friendly. The rooms are modern and very clean, though they’re on the smaller side, as is typical in Europe, and some noise comes through the old but charming windows. The spa is a real treat, but you need to reserve a half hour or hour in advance. At your booking time, someone escorts you to the facility, which is yours for the reservation. It has a massage chair, robes and slippers, and a kettle for tea. There’s also a shower to rinse off before the steam room or themed showers. Try each shower type.

The breakfast was good quality with plenty to choose from, and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. The hotel was clean, with nothing looking worn or tired. It’s close to a tram stop and an easy walk to the waterfront, old town and more. Of the four of us, our only complaints were that the WiFi was very slow and there was no English breakfast tea in the room, just fruit teas. We’d definitely stay again.
