Best Western Lakmi hotel

The breakfast was amazing and I'd recommend adding it to your stay. The location was brilliant, the hotel was easy to find, and the staff couldn't do enough. A fabulous experience from start to finish.

The central location, good breakfast and extremely friendly, welcoming staff were the best parts for me. The rooms feel dated, though, and a few things in ours were broken. The water and towels were a bit inconvenient for two people: we got just one small bottle of water, one small towel and one large towel, so we had to ask for more towels each day. The value for money could be better, and I'd probably pick another hotel next time.

We were in a fifth-floor attic room that was quiet and huge, with fun decor that was almost psychedelic. All the staff were excellent, professional and obliging. Elina made our stay especially memorable, and I'd like to thank her.

The room was comfortable and clean when we arrived, and the view of Notre-Dame de Nice was lovely. We really appreciated the wine and macarons left as a personal anniversary welcome, and the holiday decorations made the hotel feel warm and festive. Management checked in to see if everything was all right, and the staff were kind and well intentioned. Housekeeping was the one letdown: on two days in a row, I met the housekeeper in the corridor and politely asked for our room to be cleaned, but it wasn't done either time. The staff seemed a little disorganized at moments. Even so, we had a very positive stay at Best Western Hotel Lakmi Nice. A bit more consistency with housekeeping would make it an excellent city hotel.
