Hotel Florence Nice

The breakfasts were divine, with fresh, delicious pastries and good farm-to-table products every morning. The reception staff were genuinely caring, friendly, helpful, and professional. This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of the city. It's a shame I can only give it five stars, because it deserves more!

The team made the stay feel special, especially Eloise, who was a huge help with recommendations and restaurant bookings. We also loved starting the day with the delicious breakfast made from quality local products. Hotel Florence Nice is a charming, quiet place, and it was great that it welcomed pets too. The Old Town and Promenade des Anglais are only a few minutes away on foot, and public transport is close by. I’d gladly come back.

We spent five nights here as a family over Christmas 2025, and the staff were a real highlight. They were kind, attentive, and even offered us a bigger room after Agoda failed to pass along our request for a baby cot for our small child. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in France: eggs, homemade baked goods, fruit, pancakes, good coffee, cheese, ham, and even honey from the rooftop bees. It was less crowded around 7 or 8 in the morning. There’s also a microwave and coffee machine guests can use in the evening. The hotel is well placed, with a tram stop two minutes away, the station ten minutes away, and the centre of Nice about five minutes on foot. Shops and a café are nearby, as is a restaurant in the next building. Our room was clean and in good shape, though the bathroom was a bit noisy. You can ask reception for special pillows. The main downside was the small elevator, which fits only one to three people and isn’t on the ground floor. We sometimes waited ten minutes to get down.

The tram stop is just a two-minute walk away, and Hotel Florence is centrally located, so I’d happily return next time I’m in Nice. Our room was spotless, with a roomy bathroom and a great shower. There was also a kettle and tea bags in the room. Breakfast was excellent, and Strayonka, Marine and Alda were wonderful in the breakfast area. Thanks as well to Louis and Eloise at reception.
