We found three dirty tissues when we opened the sofa bed. Management said the cleaner must have missed them. You think? Noise is another issue: the soundproofing is great, but it’s on a main street, so you can still hear trams clanging and horns honking. The mattress on the sofa bed was maybe five inches thick, and you could feel the metal support bars through it. There isn’t a real bed in any of the rooms, and they really, really need one. I believe one large apartment was converted into these five rooms, so they’re all Tokyo-hotel small.
