We loved being able to step outside and see the sea, and spent a lot of time walking around the old town. Public transport to and from the airport was convenient enough. The room was quiet and had some nice extras, including a kettle and luggage rack, though the hotel needs refurbishment. Missing baseboards and tattered carpet looked unsightly. There’s no lift, and our room was up a narrow spiral staircase, which would have been harder with larger luggage. We stayed four nights in February, and I’d happily book again as long as prices remain reasonable.

Our sea-view room, number 123, was spacious and the biggest in the hotel. The reception and bar area have been completely refurbished and look great. The hotel is ideally placed in Old Nice, with plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great value at 19€.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room had lovely clean, modern touches. The bed was so comfortable that I slept really well. Step outside into the sunshine and beach, and the old town’s bustle is just around the corner, with markets, brasseries, bars, shops, and hidden churches. I’m so happy with my choice of hotel in Nice. C’est parfait!

The location of Mercure Marche aux fleurs is excellent, and the whole team gave great service. Special thanks to Ms. Shirleen at reception for her wonderful hospitality and kind, helpful manner. The service team was available even in the middle of the night. Thanks again for making our stay excellent. You won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is right by Promenade Anglais and close to Nice’s best sights. It’s a great choice for solo travelers. The employees were very service minded, and the hotel meets a good Mercure standard. Very clean, with an excellent breakfast and an excellent location.
