The mattress made it hard to get the good night’s sleep I expected. It felt extremely old and uncomfortable. I asked for a mattress topper the next morning, but only got a second one on our last night. They also offered to move us to another room, though changing rooms that late seemed pointless. I hope the owner and hotel manager spend a night in room 216 and experience the comfort they provide. The hotel is in a perfect location, and our small, charming room had been renovated and was generally well maintained, though there were already a few spots of mold. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and polite. Breakfast was tasty and more than okay, even if the choices weren’t really what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. The coffee machine in the room was a nice touch.

The location was fantastic, and everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help. Our room was clean, with a good shower pressure and nice hot water. The breakfast buffet had loads of choices, and we liked having access to coffee, tea, and a place to relax in the breakfast room around the clock. We were lucky to find this hotel. Thanks for a wonderful three-night visit.

We enjoyed our stay, though the price, four-star rating, and glowing reviews had left us expecting a bit more. The reception staff were friendly, and the location is excellent. Our Premium Double Room was spacious with good storage, but it faced the street and got noisy in the evenings and early mornings. There were a few minor issues that felt unexpected for a four-star hotel. The place feels a little worn, with stained cushions and broken signs, despite apparently having been renovated fairly recently. It seems more effort went into the design and atmosphere than into durable quality. The elevator was often crowded, so we usually took the stairs to the fourth floor, like many other guests. Breakfast had plenty of variety, but the food was spread across three rooms, so we had to walk around to collect everything. The breakfast team seemed short-staffed, and some could have used more training in basic service.

The staff at the Deck Hotel were kind, welcoming, and consistently helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, though a little small. The hotel is in a perfect spot near the sea, which made it convenient for exploring Nice. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.
