The room itself was spacious and nice, and I was pleasantly surprised by the roomy bathroom and little balcony with two chairs and a table. But after reading the good reviews, I expected more from this hotel. We hadn't realized it only had six rooms, and reception wasn't physically available for questions or requests. We could email, but the lack of in-person customer service was disappointing and different from what we expected. It also left me wondering why they asked us to send our arrival time before check-in. There wasn't a coffee machine or kettle in the room. There's a coffee station in the basement, but guests still have to pay. With only six rooms, I think it should be available without an extra charge. Why charge guests for coffee when there's no machine in the room? We were especially disappointed that reception wouldn't let us extend our already early 10:30 a.m. checkout by just an hour. These small requests could have been accommodated and would have made the stay more pleasant, especially at a small boutique hotel.

We had a fantastic stay in August. Niklas was so pleasant and kind, and his service stood out. We travel a lot, but this was the first time we'd experienced such professional, welcoming service from someone who clearly loves his job. The rooms were bright and clean, and the location was ideal, five minutes on foot to the tram and ten to the beach. We'll be back.

We loved staying here, and it made a great base for day trips to wonderful places along the Riviera. Nicholas was such a charming host. The room was cleaned to a spotless standard every day, and the optional breakfast in the little garden was superb. It's very quiet, about a 25-minute walk to Place Massena and five minutes to the beach. Highly recommend.

Breakfast out in the garden was such a treat, and the room itself was lovely, simple, and spotless. The proprietor was quick to help, too. It’s just a few minutes on foot to the promenade, where you can pick up a bike-share, walk around, or take a taxi. Prices felt very fair. The airport tram will make things even better once it’s finished. We had a great time.
