The staff are lovely, and being close to the train station is handy for visiting other places. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the center. Still, I’d rate the hotel at three stars, not four, until it deals with the problems. The rooms are small and feel old, as if they need renovating. The toilet is squeezed into the bathroom right beside the shower, and there’s no proper closet, just hangers behind a curtain. The walls are thin enough that you can hear people talking next door. Breakfast has limited options. Cleaning is a serious issue. Dust had built up in piles under the bed, and there was so much on the fridge and safe that it looked like it had been there for months. We’re allergic to dust and sneezed whenever we entered the room. Sorry to say it, because the staff are really kind, but this doesn’t meet a four-star standard.

The rooms are tiny, though having a balcony is nice. Everyone was friendly and the service was good. Breakfast was just okay: there were eggs, bread, and croissants, but the coffee wasn’t good. A convenient spot if you want to be near the train station.

The staff are so nice, and the coffee is really good. The place has beautiful, luxurious interiors and amazing rooms, with everything you need for a holiday. We had a great stay in Nice and will be back next year. Thanks for everything! 👌🏽

I accidentally left one of my two bookings uncancelled about eight months ago, after cancelling the other one. I never got a reminder about the upcoming stay and only realized I’d missed the trip when I was charged. My trip to France didn’t happen, and when I explained the situation, the staff showed no sympathy and just said there was nothing they could do. It felt like they cared about taking my money more than looking after customers or encouraging them to return. I won’t stay at this hotel next time I’m in Nice, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

At Villa Otero by HappyCulture, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and very well maintained. The location was great for exploring the area, and the fresh, tasty breakfast had plenty to choose from. The staff were especially friendly and welcoming, with excellent service. I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nice.
