Appart'City Confort Niort Centre

The man at reception was so helpful and pleasant when we arrived on Saturday night, and the whole place seemed well cared for. It's a great find right in central Niort, and we'd happily stay again.

For a mid-range hotel, the price was excellent, especially with a kitchenette. The staff were professional and pleasant, and you're right among the shops and restaurants in central Niort. I had a great stay and would use Appart'City in other cities after this experience. Bravo.

Getting in was easy, even after reception had closed, and the train station is an easy walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was huge by European hotel standards, even roomier than the one I have back in the US.

Don't trust the booking photos, the hotel looked nothing like them. It was dated and dirty. When we tried to unfold the ancient sofa bed, we found a filthy room with children's toys and toiletries left behind by previous guests. Once the bed was set up, it blocked access to the bathroom from the mezzanine floor, which isn't a separate bedroom. We complained and were promised a refund, but three weeks later the money still hadn't reached our bank account. This is among the ten worst places I've ever stayed in France, even worse than a three-man tent where my family and I slept on the floor.
