We’d love to return, and definitely recommend it. Our dog was welcomed just as warmly as we were, and Jill helped arrange a nearby winery visit that turned out wonderfully. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden was a treat, especially the fresh local food and amazing bread. The old building has a cozy, authentic feel, and our room had what we needed for a short stay. The owner is such a warm, lovely lady and made us feel special. She speaks very good English, which may help international travelers. It’s a charming, relaxing base for exploring Burgundy.

Jill was such a kind, easygoing host, and her breakfast was delicious. The place is quaint and has a special feel to it. My boyfriend and I spent two nights here after cycling from Beaune and Dijon. Jill invited me to a yoga session on our first evening, which I loved. We went on a beautiful hike and wandered around town. It’s a lovely place to slow down, away from Burgundy’s busier tourist spots.

We can recommend Esprit d'un Moment for a night’s stop or a few days exploring the area by bike or on foot, tasting wine, or visiting chateaux. The building is a lovely old tannery. Jill is friendly and a great host, and she replies quickly about bookings, arrangements, access, and the rest.

Right in Nolay, about a 20-minute drive from Beaune, this charming B&B is a real little find among the Bourgogne hills. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and it didn’t take long to feel at home. Jill has a genuine way of connecting with guests and making them feel at ease and welcome. The house has so much history and character. It’s a wonderful place to unwind while exploring the magnificent Bourgogne region.
