Valerie made sure our oldest daughter had a little birthday celebration, and the shared space, Le Preau, was well equipped. We enjoyed several evenings there eating dinner together as a family. The garden looked lovely, though the weather kept us from sitting outside. We stayed at Le Clos Poulain, a beautifully renovated old farmhouse that still has its original charm. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. Valerie served an excellent organic breakfast and introduced us to some delicious local specialties. She was a wonderful host, and the location works really well as a base for Bayeux and the landing beaches. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was outstanding, with everything homemade or fresh from a local farm. Valerie was such a great host. My family and I were very comfortable in the Mathilda Suite, and the inn was clean and beautifully decorated, with lovely grounds too. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back.

A pleasant week here, with a nice atmosphere, a clean place, and a lovely outdoor terrace. Valerie was a good host too. Bayeux is nearby, a really nice small city with good restaurants and little shops. It exceeded our expectations.

Valerie was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. Le Clos Poulain is in a quiet village, about a ten-minute drive from the Bayeux historic district. There's a big yard where you could relax, though we didn't have time to use it. You may hear a couple of roosters early in the morning, but the quiet setting and welcoming owner make the stay well worth it. My family had a wonderful two-night stay while visiting Bayeux and the D-Day sites.

We loved staying here and would happily return. Valérie was incredibly kind, welcoming, and flexible with our travel arrangements. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are very well appointed. We'd absolutely recommend it.
