Le Clos de L'Ancien Pressoir

A beautiful hotel in a stunning setting and good value for the money. We slept comfortably and had a good hot shower. It's a great choice for a couple of nights while visiting the Invasion beaches and Normandy battlefields. There may not be enough storage for a longer stay.

We ate very well here, and the meal was reasonably priced. We stayed three nights, with an excellent location for visiting Caen, Bayeux, and the Normandy beaches. The proprietor was very helpful. The accessible bedroom's bathroom could use another grab rail or two. Otherwise, it was a great place. The Sunday market in Port en Bessin is fun, and do try the Calvados!

The landscape around here is spectacular, so take a walk down the road and have a look. My room was small but adequate, and the host was superb. I hear dinner is wonderful, though breakfast was pretty standard.

A lovely little place for a stopover. We stayed one evening and left the next morning. The room was cozy and, although the bed was a bit small, it was good overall. There's dedicated parking for guests, which is great. It's run by a couple, so remember they aren't available for check-in at all hours.
