Le petit Marais n° 2

We stayed one night as a family. The cottage was comfortable and laid out really well, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. It’s a beautiful, peaceful setting. We highly recommend it.

Our chalet was number 26, though there’s also a smaller one, number 24. Both are in a peaceful green spot, not far from shops and other conveniences. The cottage is very well equipped, and the terrace wraps almost all the way around it, with places to relax and enjoy the view throughout the day and evening. We heard and saw lots of birds. This June, the frogs were especially loud, and we could hear a cuckoo in the distance. There was also a horse among the wildlife in this protected green area, which made us feel reassured about future visits to this lovely region. The owners were kind and discreet, almost seeming worried they might disturb us. We were glad we could bring our pets, since they come everywhere with us and we can’t imagine holidaying without them. Covers are provided for the bedspreads, armchairs, and other things to respect the hosts and their furry guests. Nature lovers will feel right at home. Nearby there’s a gas station, shops, a swimming pool, the Lamotte-Beuvron equestrian park, which is magnificent, and other places we still want to visit. I highly recommend a stay here.

We got a warm, genuine welcome at this charming chalet. It’s in a quiet spot near the village center and its essential shops. Windows on two sides let in light from breakfast right through to sunset.

The location was peaceful and really pleasant, and the couple made us feel so welcome with their warmth and friendliness. We had a wonderful stay. I’d gladly come back and recommend it.
