Auberge De Noves

Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh orange juice, yogurt, soft-boiled eggs, croissants and bread. We felt thoroughly spoiled. The staff were so kind to us, especially our little boy, and we even had a lovely chat with the chef on our last evening. He was very friendly and had worked in London. Our room was lovely, the pool peaceful, and the restaurant food was excellent with a lovely terrace view. Towels and drinks were available in the small room by the changing area. The location is handy for nearby villages and sights. We loved staying here and only wished we could have stayed longer. We’d happily recommend it.

The rooms feel very worn and are due for serious renovation. This must have been a palace 20 years ago. Still, the domaine is amazing, with lovely views, and the staff are exceptional. Breakfast is made with fresh local products. The restaurant isn’t gastronomic, but the food is still very tasty. The wine list is local, though a bit pricey. The pool is good, with showers, changing rooms, towels, sunbeds and games for kids.

The room’s air conditioning struggled to cool it during four days of temperatures above 30 degrees. Breakfast was good, though the same menu was served each day with no buffet, so it could get repetitive after a while. The restaurant food was excellent, as you’d expect given the high prices. We had a good-sized junior suite for two adults and a child, and the pool was spacious with plenty of sunbeds and free non-alcoholic refreshments. The place is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all, a great stay and highly recommended.

The service was fantastic, and the setting had such a calming feel. We really enjoyed our time at the Auberge de Noves and would recommend staying here.
