Asinerie Kuleni

We could hardly bring ourselves to leave, and we hope to see Delphine and Olivier again. This family-run place is a lovely choice for people who enjoy nature and animals. The rooms are clean, comfortable, each has its own character, and everything works well and looks almost new. We loved spending time with the kind, thoughtful owners and their lovely animals. Breakfast and dinner were freshly cooked, delicious, and prepared with care for their guests. A one-of-a-kind stay, thank you, Delphine and Olivier. We’ll remember you! A & N

You do need to be comfortable around animals here, since the dogs roam freely, and you can visit the donkeys too. They make lovely-smelling soap and shampoo from donkey milk. We loved the peaceful setting and found the hosts warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food was excellent, all local and biodynamic. We’d love to come back.

I arrived in the middle of the night after booking through Expedia on July 11, 2022, but the woman in charge refused to let me stay. She said Expedia had made a mistake and the place was already booked, then sent me off the property. While my husband and I were outside looking for somewhere else to stay, with the car lights on, she came out and yelled, “Get out of here! Get out of the property! You are bothering.” She was extremely rude. I would not recommend this place at all.

The drive through farmland is deep, but don’t let that put you off. There’s a pool and four dogs, and I counted twenty donkeys. We even got to do yoga with the donkeys. When we asked about nearby restaurants, the owners cooked us a full three-course dinner instead, and offered complimentary breakfast of our choice. They take the B&B experience to another level. This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, a real escape from busy city life.
