The breakfast was a nice continental spread and got us ready to head out. We had a comfortable room, though it felt dated and was a little noisy. The bar and restaurant were a bit hit and miss but adequate. There was a lovely pool with loungers, and the room was great for storing our bikes. A charming collie greeted us when we arrived!

We stayed one night, and since this is the only place in the area, there wasn't another option. The room was really poor: the bathroom, bed and mattress were all very old, and there weren't enough power sockets. They close at 21:00, so late arrivals have to come in through a back door. I know the price is cheap, but with the room in this condition, even a lower price would still feel expensive to me. We skipped the restaurant, including breakfast, because after seeing the room we were worried about eating there.

The internet was unusable, and the hotel felt old and dirty. In the bathroom, bare pipes were exposed. The heating pipe wouldn't turn on, and the front desk refused to do anything about it. Awful hotel.
