Hôtel Saint-Florent

We had a lovely stay in the room with the wooden canopy bed. The bird songs playing softly through the lobby and stairs during the day were a nice touch, and those spaces look very good. I imagine the owner, who was really nice and seemed to clean the rooms too, furnished them. The hotel is fantastic, and I’d highly recommend it. A few small suggestions: a screen on the window would let in summer air and light while helping keep pigeons out, and the door needs to be locked by hand with the key from inside rather than locking automatically. I’d also love to see a bath there in future.

We had breakfast there, with plenty to choose from, in a dining room with a really cool feel. The whole hotel has a stylish touch. Our room was bright, nicely done, and had everything we needed. The owner was very kind and did all he could to make us comfortable. We stayed one night with my boyfriend, on a quiet street with no traffic noise, right across from the Roman Theatre.

Breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade jams and cakes, and the owners were warm and helpful. This privately run hotel has charming, nicely decorated rooms, tucked down a pedestrian street near the Theatre Antique. We’ll definitely stay again.

It's right in the city center, though getting there by car is difficult. The staff are very friendly and the rooms feel cozy. There aren't many facilities, but the cozy atmosphere makes up for that.
