Ibis Budget Orléans Sud Co’met

Our little one loved having a bunk above our bed. The room was clean enough, though we did find a few bugs and hair on the shower head, which felt in keeping with the two-star standard. Food and drink options were just the breakfast room and vending machines, as expected.

It worked perfectly for an overnight stop, with easy road access and a tram stop a short walk away. Trams run directly to the centre every 10 minutes. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful, and parking was ample. Wi-Fi was free and steady, and there are vending machines for snacks. A very good, economical hotel with the usual Ibis quality.

We had a clean room, a good rate, and friendly staff, and we'd come back. The shower was the one problem: in its normal position the water sprays onto the door and spills out of the enclosure, so you have to hold the shower head throughout to avoid flooding the bedroom. Otherwise everything was very good. For us, the hotel was a little far from the motorway.

I paid 73€ for two people in June 2025 for a twin room with two single beds. The beds were decent, everything was clean, and the Wi-Fi was tiptop. The TV had no cable connections. Compared with other Ibis Budget places I've used, including Clermont Ferrand, this one felt a bit more budget: no air conditioning, a tiny shower cabin where you have to hold the shower head yourself, and the sink is in the bedroom. We only had two half rolls of toilet paper, and the generic website photos make the place look a little better than it is.
