The daily special was generous and good value, and the service was quick. We were welcomed so warmly and really enjoyed the meal. We’d been looking for somewhere to eat along our route and found this restaurant by chance.

The food was very good and affordable, but lunch service on a weekday took patience. It was at least two hours for a main course and dessert, and the staff could have been friendlier.

The service was really pleasant and friendly, and the food was delicious. We had a lovely Valentine’s Day, with excellent foie gras, duck breast, and fish skewers.

The dishes came out piping hot, just how I like them, and looked very nice. We had lunch at the inn today, with a warm welcome and top-notch service. Everything tasted excellent. Thanks to the owner, we’ll be back.
