Hôtel Adèle & Jules

It was a treat to come back to a lobby with coffee and drinks available all day, and Tony warmly welcomed us when we arrived close to midnight. We always felt genuinely welcome returning to the hotel. We booked this Mr & Mrs Smith property through Hyatt, and, as longtime Hyatt Globalists, we thought its service, quality, and location were on par with a Category 7 property. One note for fellow Globalists: the standard free breakfast benefit isn't included. The staff kindly gave us complimentary breakfast on our first morning, which we appreciated, and we loved finding a bottle of champagne in the room as a welcome amenity. We were pleasantly surprised by the suite on our first visit. It was incredibly spacious for Paris, with a comfortable living area and a well-designed bathroom. Everything was spotless, and the clean, elegant style still felt cozy, more like a chic apartment than a typical hotel room. The hotel is close to the metro and surrounded by restaurants and cafés, but our street was quiet and we slept really well. We'd happily return and recommend it.

The staff were polite, spoke English, and lent us umbrellas, which was a real plus. Our room was decently sized, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Even on the ground floor, we didn't hear noise because the hotel sits in a courtyard away from the road. There's a gym with a couple of bikes, running machines, and free weights, but we only found out about it a few minutes before leaving. We didn't try breakfast.

We could walk to almost everything from this central spot, as long as we left enough time to enjoy the sights along the way. There were great restaurants in every direction, and the breakfast had plenty of delicious choices for both of us. My husband and I spent four nights here and enjoyed every minute. The staff were helpful and accommodating with any request, and our room was extremely clean with more than enough space. Highly recommend it!

The room was large, clean, quiet overnight, and had good blackout curtains. We also liked the afternoon tea from 4 to 6 pm, especially the mini doughnuts. The front desk staff were pleasant, and there were lots of great places to eat nearby. It didn't feel too touristy, and we could walk everywhere, including to Gare du Nord, which was useful. Still, the stay was pleasant rather than memorable, which was a bit disappointing. There were no robes in the room, even though they sell them at the front desk. Since the beds had been pushed together, I slept badly in the uncomfortable gap. Our wet-room bathroom was impractical: after a shower, the toilet area was drenched and needed cleaning. We wanted breakfast, but there was no one to help, no mugs, and very little food, so we went elsewhere.
