Hôtel Antin Trinité

The room was clean, at least, but I wouldn’t recommend this place if you don’t want your vacation ruined by “hotel policy.” When I asked for an iron, they wouldn’t bring one to the room and said we had to iron our clothes on the tables by reception. We also had to leave our room key at reception every time we went out and ask for it when we came back. We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready, but they charged for each piece of luggage to store it for a few hours, just like a luggage storage service. When I tried to explain, I was cut off and told that was the hotel's policy. That evening, street works left us without heat or hot water. Management made no effort to improve things and just gave a brief reply that there was nothing they could do. The window didn’t close properly either, so cold air and noise came into the room. The whole experience was sooo veryyy disappointing.

My room, number 21, was exceptionally small, though I was on my own, so it wasn’t the end of the world. The staff were really friendly and great. It’s a good hotel in a great location, but like most small independent hotels in Paris, there’s no AC. If you’re unlucky enough to get an interior courtyard window, there’s very little natural ventilation.

The person at reception treated us harshly and was very disrespectful. He was a bad deal. I hope the management of the mac holds him accountable.

There’s no air conditioning, which could be a problem if you’re sensitive to heat. We visited in August and managed to stay fairly comfortable with the fan in our room, but it’s something to keep in mind during the hotter months. We found the hotel spotless, and it was clear the staff take hygiene seriously. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel warm and welcoming. It’s also very well placed for exploring Paris, with major attractions easy to reach and the nearest metro just a short walk away. A clean, well-located place with friendly service, as long as you’re prepared for summer warmth.
