Apartments du Louvre - St-Honoré

We had an early flight, so we checked out by leaving our key cards in the room. It was very easy since reception didn't open until 10. Our one-bedroom apartment was comfortable, convenient, and spacious, and the hotel staff we met were all really friendly. I was so glad we booked it, and it made our Paris trip even better than expected. We were four adults and had a lovely home base for the week. I knew this place booked up fast from seeing it in past searches, so as soon as we booked our Paris flights, I reserved here. Booking directly saved us 5%, and they gave us a complimentary welcome basket with French treats and a bottle of wine. The location is close to the RER A, B, and C lines, which we used for farther trips, and an easy walk from lots of the sights. It took about 8 minutes to walk to the Louvre pyramid, and there were lots of great restaurants nearby. Our favorite was La Fresque, not too far away. We arrived around 10:30 and a very friendly receptionist welcomed us. She pointed out lockers for our bags on the ground floor, toilets on level -1, and estimated when the room would be ready. We went out for lunch, and it was ready earlier than expected. In our apartment, the bed by the window had a glass door so it could be separated from the rest of the space. My sister and I slept on the sofa bed, which was extremely comfortable. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper. We asked reception for more once, and they brought it quickly. The shower was amazing, with very hot water that felt great after a long day exploring. A few things we especially appreciated: the location was so close to many places. Taking the RER back from the Arc de Triomphe took 18 minutes door to door, and we even walked about an hour to the Eiffel Tower on our first day. There was a lift, which wasn't very spacious but was really convenient. We made two trips with our luggage at check-in and checkout, but otherwise all four of us fit. When reception was open, there was a water filter machine on level -1 for the refillable containers they provide, with still and sparkling water. We also had a washer-dryer combo in our unit, which we didn't expect. We didn't get a chance to use it, and I hadn't seen it in the pictures, so I wanted to mention it. It was definitely worth the cost.
