The staff made our stay especially easy, and even kept our luggage for free after checkout, which was a real help on our last day. The hotel is cozy, clean, and well maintained, with everything needed for a comfortable visit. It’s a great option for couples, central but quiet, welcoming, and reasonably priced. The value was excellent for the location and time of year. Hôtel Arc de Triomphe Etoile is just steps from the Arc de Triomphe, with two Metro stations and plenty of other transport nearby, so exploring Paris was simple. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

On several occasions, I and other guests were helped by people who seemed neither to be employees nor professionally trained, but acquaintances or unofficial representatives. That was unprofessional and fell short of what guests should expect from a hotel carrying your name. You also referred to a strict payment protocol, but we didn’t see one. Payment was disorganized and unclear, and our account was charged twice. We still haven’t received a proper explanation or correction. The condition of the facilities also contradicts your claims about hygiene standards. I’d suggest a thorough internal review before making such statements publicly. Your claim that there was a discussion with management is factually wrong. No such meeting happened, and nobody tried to offer appropriate compensation for the considerable inconvenience we experienced. Please take this feedback seriously and avoid issuing misleading replies that contradict what was documented and witnessed. Templated statements that brush aside guest complaints do nothing for your reputation.

The room setup was ridiculous for two friends: the shower was inside the room, almost touching the bed, though at least the toilet has its own door. I was moved from room 104 after its door handle came off, into room 103, which sits behind two sets of doors. Getting luggage past one awkward door to open another with a metal key instead of a key card was a hassle. The rooms are no bigger than closets, and the lift barely fits one and a half people, so good luck if you’re traveling with others and extra bags. You also have to leave the physical key at the desk when you go out. Be careful what you leave in the room. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s mastered deception, this is it.

It was pretty quiet, and the staff were really helpful. The hotel is handy for most attractions. One thing to know is that you need to leave your key when you go out, but the front desk is open 24 hours and will give it back when you return. My room, number 12 on the first floor, had very poor Wi-Fi and mobile data, though I think that was down to where it was.
