Beauquartier - Montorgueil

We could walk to Montorgueil's restaurants, shops and cafes, as well as Les Halles, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Le Marais and Opera. The location is superb, and this lovely apartment made our Paris trip perfect. It was gorgeous, spacious, spotless and well equipped. Sleeping was peaceful and quiet. The bed, including the pullout sofa, was comfortably firm, and the pillows and duvet were cozy. The shower is large with fantastic water pressure throughout. The appliances were excellent and the Wi-Fi was fast. Self check-in, with a storage locker big enough for four carry-ons and some other bags. Chef's kiss.

One thing to plan for: a taxi or Uber can't drop you right in front of the hotel, so you'll probably be left about a block away. Use Google Maps to find your way there. Our one-bedroom apartment had plenty of space to unpack, and everything was clean, organized and thoughtfully arranged. It's centrally located among lots of restaurants and cafés. The corner café just to the right of the hotel was especially gracious and served great food. We had a wonderfully pleasant stay.

We had an unfortunate blackout on our last night, but one phone call got it fixed within an hour. The only change I'd suggest is adding a blind to the bedroom door window to block light while sleeping. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to book this beautiful, convenient apartment again for another Paris holiday. We even got lucky with snowfall on our final night. Our original booking at Beauquartier Paris - Sentier was cancelled because of water damage in the building, so we spent five nights at Beauquartier Montotgueil Apartment 1 instead. It was amazing, and probably an even better location. The place was spacious and extremely clean, with a comfortable bed and a kitchen stocked with all the utensils you'd need if you wanted to cook. In about 30 seconds on foot from the front door, there are restaurants, cafes, patisseries, supermarkets and cheese shops. Two train stations are within a five-minute walk. There's a small lift that fits one person and one suitcase, plus an easy staircase. Self-service luggage lockers are available before or after your booking.

It’s cozy but not at all small, and the apartment was clean and well looked after. It was really well and generously equipped too. I absolutely adored it. Great location, and I highly recommend it.
