The place is simple and comfortable, with the essentials, and the location is excellent. Our room had been renovated and was cleaned almost every day. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing stay and are already planning to return to the same hotel, especially if we’ll spend most of our time outdoors.

We mainly needed a place to sleep, and the room was a decent size for that. The lobby and room were clean, and reception was friendly; our room was ready when we got there at 1 pm. The area is great, packed with places to eat, drink, and shop. We skipped the breakfast and ate out. My only real gripe is the price: 365 euros for two nights in November felt steep for what you get. Around 200-250 euros would have seemed fair.

The neighborhood made the stay easy, with the métro close by and plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Breakfast cost an extra 12 euros and was a tasty continental buffet with scrambled eggs, sausage, jams, and croissants. Our room on the sixth floor was quiet, spacious, and had a surprisingly large bathroom. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room stayed warm during the big snowstorm in Paris. The elevator fit plenty of suitcases, and the reception staff were kind. I booked at the last minute on the same day and was nervous about trying a two-star hotel for the first time, but the booking went smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised. If I need a hotel in Paris again, I’ll come back here.

The staff were especially kind when they took care of our bags before check-in, and we got a lovely welcome. We stayed two nights in late March, apparently in one of the newer top-floor rooms, with a proper shower and a nice street view where we could spot the center Pompidou. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was pretty clean overall, fine if you’re not too fussy. We skipped breakfast because there were so many options nearby. We’d happily stay again.

We had a warm welcome and attentive, obliging service throughout our stay. The hotel is charming and good value, and its central location worked perfectly for our short city break. Our room was great, and breakfast was worth the price. I did wonder if we’d miss having a way to make hot drinks in the room, but it wasn’t a big deal since the coffee at the breakfast bar was so good. I’d gladly recommend the place and stay again.
