Edgar Suites - Lemercier

We chose this after taking a chance despite Booking.com showing a 9.3 from 75 reviews while Google Maps had only two reviews and a 3.5 score. It turned out to be the right choice. After checking in, I saw the welcome gift, a tote bag and small chocolate, along with a map. Reading the map, I learned the building had been converted from offices and that Edgar has hotels in other locations. Our 40 square meter one bedroom apartment was handy for making noodles, and we stayed two nights. The area felt safe and was convenient, with restaurants, shops, and a supermarket nearby. It’s between two metro stations: seven minutes on foot to La Fourche on line 13 or Place de Clichy on lines 2 or 13. Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre is very close. We took the metro there and walked back through lively streets full of restaurants, shops, and people. There’s free luggage storage if you arrive early, and you can use it after checkout and pick up your bags the same day. It was a good stay in a safe area.

Everything was new and comfortable, and the place felt super secure. We each had our own room and bathroom, which was perfect for two couples. The little kitchen also gave us the option to eat meals together at home. I’d stay at Edgar Suites again. It was way better than staying at Airbnb. There’s bag storage on site if you need it before or after your stay.
