The location is fantastic, the apartment was what we expected, and the company provided good service. We were excited to stay, but barely slept, so this ended up being a three star experience for us. There’s a very loud bar directly under the first floor room we booked for eight nights. Between 10 and 30 people gather right below the window until 1 or 2 in the morning, even in December, and the staff sometimes blast extremely loud club music late at night. On our first night, it started exactly at 12:45 am and played until closing. It was so loud that even white noise couldn’t cover it, and there was nobody we could contact to turn it down. We were a family of three with an eight year old, out sightseeing and back home by 10. The lost sleep had a significant effect on our trip and daily experience, which was meant to be a once in a lifetime visit to Paris. Don’t take the noise warning lightly. Imagine a party in the room next door at a hotel in the USA, every night, with no front desk. This could be a fantastic spot if you’re a night owl who plans to be out late. I’d highly recommend it in that case, which is why it gets three stars. If you want to sleep, check whether they have another location without bars next door. I’d read the company reviews, which are great, without realizing I wasn’t looking at reviews for the exact location I’d booked until two weeks before the trip: 34 Rue Leopold Bellan.

Ms. Girlie and Mr. Fred made the stay such a delight. The onsite staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and my correspondence with management was excellent. The rooms were cozy and nicely furnished, with a spacious bathroom and a responsive water heater. There’s a toaster, microwave, and stovetop in the room, too. Just remember to ask staff to clean the room when needed, since this is a serviced apartment, not a hotel. I was here for a few days for a convention. Self check-in was easy, and Paris Expo was a 12 minute walk away, with the metro five minutes on foot. The pharmacy and grocery store were very nearby. Champs Elysees and most shops were over a 20 minute drive away. The neighborhood was relatively quiet, though my room near the ground floor was next to a cafe with noisy people. It didn’t bother me much. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back.

The room was clean and spacious, with a kitchenette separate from the bedroom. The host was friendly and really easy to communicate with. The location was ideal for exploring Paris, with trains on different lines nearby and lots of nice cafes and bakeries serving delicious croissants and coffee. I’d definitely come back on my next Paris visit.

Early in the morning, I could head out to the quiet cobbled streets and meet the market stallholders setting up at 7:15. The French spoken by the hard-working people from all over the world was lovely to hear. Or it was just a five-minute run to the park beside the Louvre and the Seine. The apartments are right in the middle of Paris, a wonderful city to fall in love with completely and forever. You can walk five minutes to see the Mona Lisa or Vermeer’s masterpieces, and the soft conversations from the cafés below the window were like a dream and lulled me to sleep.
