The staff were helpful, the French breakfast had good quality products, and the location was very good. We stayed as a family for a few days over the weekend. We had to change rooms because of booking issues, though, and the bathroom in the second room was awful. It was very damp, with what looked like fungus on the walls. I told reception, and they apologized and said they'd call a technician, but it seemed like a long-running issue the hotel staff must already know about. I didn't like that bathroom at all. Four to five days after our stay at Fred hotel, we noticed several spots on our daughter's body that looked like bedbug bites. She'd slept in an extra bed added to our room. I can't say for sure there were bugs there, but she'd never had this problem at home, and we hadn't stayed anywhere else in the previous two weeks. I called reception today, told them our booking and room number so they could investigate and fix it if they found a problem. Even with friendly staff, good breakfast and a very good location, we're not coming back. I guess this is the sort of hotel for a quick one tone city visit.

The rooms were cosy and comfortable, and we felt at home while we were there. As Sri Lankans, we also had the chance to enjoy a delicious, typical Parisian breakfast at Fred Hotel. The welcoming, helpful staff made the stay even more memorable. A truly charming place in Paris! 💙 🤍 ♥️

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the atmosphere was friendly. The staff were very kind and always ready to help us. Everything was excellent, and when I'm in Paris again, I'll definitely choose this place.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so check-in took an extra 25 minutes. The room itself was okay, but the third bed made an extremely loud noise and made it hard to sleep. We could also hear conversations clearly from the neighboring room, even though the area was mostly quiet, so the soundproofing seemed poor. On the first night, the phone in our room rang twice at around 1:30 AM. We were confused and quite scared, so we didn't answer. Reception had no explanation the next morning, and it left us feeling unsafe. Breakfast was a big disappointment: just baguette, butter and jam. The cramped breakfast space is right by reception and has only about 15 seats, which felt uncomfortable. We regretted adding breakfast. Several things listed in the hotel's advertisement were missing, including coffee capsules, bottled water and newspapers. We mentioned it to staff, but nothing was done. When I tried boiling water, a lot of dirt came out. Very unhygienic. We won't return, and unfortunately can't recommend the hotel.

The staff were really helpful, and I was surprised when I first walked in by how luxurious the place looked. The rooms were quite fancy, too. Hope I get to come back someday.
