I stopped by for a simple coffee on February 20 around 7:30pm and was told they were closed, although people were clearly inside. The person at the door said there was a special event, but there was no clear sign to explain it. It felt very unwelcoming. I gave the place another chance the next morning, February 21 around 10:00am. When I asked for coffee, they immediately asked whether I was paying cash or card. I said card and was told they didn't accept credit cards. That was surprising and inconvenient, especially without any notice beforehand. The way I was treated felt dismissive and uncomfortable. I'm Hispanic and visiting from the USA, and couldn't help feeling singled out and treated differently. Whether that was intentional or not, I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I'm extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend the place. Basic courtesy and clear communication go a long way, and neither was there.

I wasn't a hotel guest, so I can only speak about the café. The menu is good, there's brunch all day, and the prices are reasonable for Paris. The place is cosy and one staff member was sweet, but the eggs were raw and we couldn't eat them. Another staff member, who seemed to be in charge, was so rude she ruined the experience. Such a shame.

It's a calm, pleasant hotel where it's easy to relax, and the coffee is perfect. The staff were outstanding, attentive and welcoming without getting in your way. We had a wonderful stay and I'd be happy to return. Highly recommended.

The location is great, and the room and facilities are adequate for the price. We had a very good 6 night stay, and the staff were all friendly. Igor, if I got his name right, especially made us feel at home while we were there. We'll stay here again!
