Hotel Auguste

I still felt unsafe going back to my room after the police arrived, and I’m leaving this review because the whole incident was so upsetting. The night receptionist, a Black man, demanded extra money before handing over my room key, claiming someone had stayed in my room. That wasn’t true. My friend had only dropped me off after dinner and left right away. I explained this more than once, but he got aggressive, shouted, blocked me from going to my room, and told me to pack and leave in the middle of the night. I was frightened for my safety and called the police. They arrived late, around 11 p.m. or midnight, and witnessed what was happening. The receptionist made a scene, wouldn’t check the security cameras when I asked, and no one in management stepped in. It was one of the scariest and least professional hotel experiences I’ve had. I don’t recommend the hotel to anyone. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I blurred the faces for legal and safety reasons.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and amazing beds in this small, cozy hotel. Breakfast is simple, fresh, and good. It’s a safe, convenient place right by buses and taxis. I recommend it.

The room was clean and nice, and the location was perfect, right by a subway stop with lots of restaurants and bakeries close by. Reception staff were kind and accommodating, and there’s a concierge available 24 hours.

We were very happy with our booking and got room 60, which had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. The metro nearby is really convenient, and from the balcony we could see the Elf Tower. The service was wonderful, and the people working here are lovely and always up for a conversation. We’ll stay here next time too. Thanks 🗼
