Hotel B55

We paid for an extra night, but when we came back our bags had been put outside. Then we were charged again for the night and another €50 just to store the luggage. The hotel seems more interested in collecting fees than looking after guests. I also tried to complain here and on Instagram, and was simply blocked. Silencing customers instead of trying to fix the problem shows a complete lack of respect. The service was terrible, with zero empathy or real concern. The whole experience felt disorganized and unpleasant, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The reception team were consistently cold and unhelpful. At breakfast, just before 10am, staff started clearing the tables noisily and aggressively, making guests feel rushed and unwelcome. The rooms are tiny, and breakfast had the same options every morning. The wellness area was misleading: the pool cost extra and required a booked slot, and the sauna we paid for wasn’t working. A very negative stay, and it only seems to get worse over time.

The hotel seemed focused on extra fees rather than hospitality, and I don’t recommend it. Service was the worst part. The reception staff were consistently rude and unfriendly. Before 10am at breakfast, staff began clearing everything away, clattering plates and cutlery. It felt very impolite. The rooms are very small, and breakfast was exactly the same each day, with no variety. The leisure area was disappointing too. The pool required an extra fee, had restricted hours, and had to be booked in advance. The sauna wasn’t working even though we’d paid for a time slot.

We chose this hotel because reviews described it as quiet at night and it had air conditioning. Instead, the room was swelteringly hot even though the heat wasn’t on, and the AC had been disabled for the season. We opened the balcony door for a little cool air, but that let in the sounds of cars, sirens, and other night noise. We slept terribly for all three nights and won’t return for that reason. The room was a nice size, modern, and clean, and the front desk staff were nice enough. We’d booked a balcony room. There wasn’t much space to hang clothes, although there was unused wall space for hooks and a small nook that could have fit more hanging rods. Breakfast was par for me.

My partner and I wanted a relaxing night out, and we loved the room. The mattress was amazingly comfortable and the sheets were soft. We also tried the spa area. The pool was luxurious and beautiful, and we loved the sauna. Having 45mn of private time was perfect for enjoying it in peace. I had an amazing night at the B55.
