Hôtel Chopin

There are plenty of good restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the hotel sits in an old passage just off the Grands Boulevards. Our triple room was okay, nothing special, and the building could use refurbishment. The elevator is advertised, but reaching it means climbing about eleven or twelve spiral steps first. Then there’s a long corridor and another three steps, followed by three more to get into the small lift. That’s a real hassle with heavy luggage. We wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere that made the stay memorable. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help. It’s in a quiet area, close to authentic Parisian shops. Highly recommended!

We were on an upper floor, but the lift barely fit two people, so we used the stairs instead. The staff let us leave our bags after checkout, which we really appreciated. The room was very small and had no air conditioning, though the oscillating fan kept us comfortable. The hotel has a quaint feel and a nice vibe, and it’s in a great location inside a mall area. It felt very safe, and the staff were friendly. Recommended!

The rooms smelled musty and old, and the walls were so thin I could hear everything. My family had booked a room with three beds, but without any notice we were given two separate rooms instead. I also had no heat from the radiator all night.
