The reception staff were friendly, and the location was fine. Beyond that, I can’t recommend this hotel. There was no value for the high price, and the experience didn’t come close to what I’d expect from a 4-star property advertised as such. The room was clean, but very small despite our paying for a bigger one, and it was too basic for the price or rating. Breakfast is best avoided: the seating area is unpleasantly set inside reception, the food didn’t seem fresh, and some plates weren’t clean. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the lobby when we arrived. The hallway on our floor smelled even worse, so much that standing there while waiting for the elevator was uncomfortable. It made a bad first impression and affected our comfort throughout the stay. We put up with it instead of complaining to reception right away. I’m extremely disappointed and honestly shocked at the high rating.

The rooms are beautifully designed, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains and quiet street made for fantastic sleep. I spent a lot of time in the room, though not by choice: I was hospitalized with an illness on the first night of my three-night stay. I was alone, but the staff’s care, attention, and support were incredible. Their warmth and kindness made me feel at home. I’ll definitely come back to explore the area and stay here again.

What stood out most was how friendly and accommodating the staff were. They left me with a great impression, and I never felt awkward asking questions or asking for help. I enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back. The room was tidy and the location was convenient, though I don’t travel much and don’t have many places to compare it with. There were a few minor problems: the room was quite small, the sink and shower head didn’t work properly, breakfast was a bit lackluster, and there were some small disturbances.

A lovely little hotel, and I had a wonderful time. My room had a stunning view, and after a whole day wandering around Paris, finishing with the sauna was just perfect. I’ll definitely stay again.

The hotel offered us money to change a poor review, which explains to me why there are so many positive ones. I’m surprised by the reviews, because this doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. Housekeeping came very late in the day, so around 4pm you were forced to stay out of your room, when many people might want to rest or shower before dinner. They also did a poor job and didn’t remove dirty dishes or trash. If you just get coffee, they’ll charge you for a full breakfast. The breakfast itself was tiny, basically finger food, and not great. The shower products weren’t high quality. For a 2 or 3 star hotel I’d expect shampoo and body wash together, but there was no body wash, no shampoo specifically for hair, and no conditioner. The bed was two beds pushed together, so on a romantic trip you won’t be cuddling, or you’ll fall into the gap. Lol.
