Hotel de France

The metro was only a short walk away, so it was easy to get around, and the facilities were great. Most of all, the staff made us feel welcome and looked after, even arranging an early check-in that made arriving much easier. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the whole property was beautifully kept. We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end and would gladly come back. Being able to get into our room at 11 a.m. was a huge help after travelling, even though check-in officially starts at 3 p.m. The staff were kind and helpful the whole time. The room and shared spaces were very clean and well cared for, and the metro was close by, making it simple to explore the city. We had a wonderful stay. N.Greece 🇬🇷

The people here are so respectful and kind. It feels a little like coming home to Paris whenever I visit, and the family who runs the hotel is lovely. The room costs a fair price and is even a bit larger than what you get at some more expensive Paris hotels. It’s in a special, nice part of the 18th arrondissement, near the stairs to the Sacre Coeur and not far from the Moulin Rouge. Gare du Nord is very close, and the center is easy to reach by subway. I really like staying here. 🙏🍀🗼💚

I had a private toilet, but most rooms don't, so there was a lot of coming and going during the night. The room itself was very small, and the mattress had a thick plastic sheet over it instead of a normal waterproof cover. The toilet seat was damaged too. Having no elevator up to the 5th floor didn't bother me, but I hope they take a guest's needs into account when assigning rooms. I had no luggage, for example. Nothing was really, really wrong, but even for a budget hotel, it felt on the low side.
