My suite was gorgeous, and I even had a great massage. The location was perfect, and the staff made me feel so welcome. Front desk manager Vikash went above and beyond: he answered all my questions, showed me around, and made sure a latte and croissant were ready for me to take along when I dashed off to the airport super early. My first stay at Hotel de Sers was relaxing and delightful. It's a real treasure, and I'll definitely be back. Thank you to Hotel de Sers and the whole team!

I've stayed in hotels 50+ nights a year, and this was one of the worst experiences I've had. The 4.6 rating felt fabricated, outdated, or undeserved. The location may be the hotel's only asset, and that won't last long. In our suite, there was dirty underwear under the bathroom sink and a used shoe bag hidden under the couch. That's a serious hygiene failure, far beyond a housekeeping slip, and made me question whether the room had been cleaned at all. When we raised it, staff and management were defensive, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no sincere apology, accountability, or urgency, just endless, pointless arguments that ate up time on our short vacation. I wanted to leave immediately, but management blamed the third-party booking and said a refund wasn't possible. After a hellish dispute, they refunded only the extra amount we had paid for the suite for the first two nights. It felt extracted rather than offered. They said they'd provide a suite as a gesture, but prepared a tiny twin room instead, the opposite of what they'd told us. At that point, complaining seemed useless. The minibar wasn't working and everything in it was warm. I didn't bother raising that because it was a moot point. If dirty underwear hadn't moved them, they might consider a broken minibar an asset rather than a failure. I added an extra night at Le Dokhan’s, and the difference was immediate: genuine hospitality, flexibility, professionalism, and thoughtful extras like complimentary dessert and champagne, offered without asking. Hôtel de Sers showed me what's wrong with poorly run “luxury” hotels: policies over people, arrogance over service, and management unable to handle problems. Avoid it if cleanliness, professionalism, or your time matter to you.

The hotel is perfectly placed within walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to see. We also enjoyed two runs around Paris starting from the hotel, and there's a fitness room if you'd rather work out indoors. We spent three nights here and loved it all, from drinks at the bar to our meal in the restaurant, where the service was excellent and we both thoroughly enjoyed the food. The plumbing and boiler were having issues when we checked in. David explained what was going on and said they hoped to fix it the next day. He gave us several options and couldn't have been more helpful. We chose to stay because his customer service had already impressed us, and we're so glad we did. He was professional and friendly, a perfect mix. Every staff member brought something special, and this was by far the best service we've had across our several stays in Paris. Vikash was fantastic too, always kind and helpful. Meeting Rafael, the general manager, was a real pleasure. The whole team is a credit to Hotel de Sers, and the attention to detail throughout stood out. Thanks for a gorgeous, memorable stay!

I fell for this place straight away. The terrace room looking out over the Eiffel Tower and Paris skyline was perfect for a romantic getaway. Sunrise brought soft spring light into the room, and by evening the city was glowing gold. Before bed, we had sparkling wine on the terrace, watching the tower shimmer. It all felt like a movie. Breakfast in the room, prompt service, and the carefully chosen books were lovely touches. Finding Antoine de Saint-Exupéry among them felt especially meaningful. Every detail made the trip feel perfect. This place deserves attention!

The staff were wonderful, attentive, and very helpful. When you're unsure what to do, where to go, or where to find the best macarons and pastries, you can trust their suggestions. The rooms are spacious and clean, and it's easy to walk to all the main attractions. The hotel is very central but quiet and away from the biggest crowds.
