I was worried the Superior Room might feel cramped, but it worked perfectly for me on my own. It was comfortable, had a lovely street view, and the shower had fantastic water pressure. I also loved opening the big windows for fresh air. I didn’t get a room with a fresco. The staff were kind and helpful throughout, including arranging a laundry pickup and dropoff through a third party, which I really appreciated. The hotel made a great base for exploring Paris. Luxembourg Garden, the 6th, and the Latin Quarter were easy to reach on foot. Being at the top of Montparnasse also made the Metro and train convenient, with shops and cafés just down the street. I’d stay again.

The location in Saint Germain meant we could walk around the neighbourhood and always find somewhere to eat nearby. It was easy to feel like a local. Breakfast was simple, but a nice start to the day. We loved the hotel’s warm, artsy look, with wood and warm colours in the lobby. It’s not a ritzy, high-class place, and that’s part of its charm. It has a cozy, bohemian feel, with boutique touches and attentive service that comes from having fewer rooms. My wife had been to Paris twice before, but this was my first visit. Staying at Hotel des Academies et des Arts made the trip easier and more memorable for both of us. Lami welcomed us warmly at the front desk and was always a pleasure to talk with before we headed out. He gave us advice on getting around and was a great host when we came back at night. He also arranged an early morning taxi to the airport for our trip home. We had a lovely stay and know we’ll be back.

It’s a quirky, clean hotel in a wonderful area with restaurants, pharmacies, and residential streets nearby. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Amenis for helping us navigate the city and giving us shopping advice. Our only suggestion would be a small dresser, since closet space was a bit tight for two people. We can’t wait to return and will definitely stay here again. Xoxo

Two staff members were so attentive after I unexpectedly injured my leg. One of them even walked with me to a nearby pharmacy and coordinated with a local physiotherapist to arrange treatment. That kind of thoughtful, seamless help is rare, and I’m very grateful for the care I received throughout my stay. Merci beaucoup!

The rooms are lovely and spacious by Paris standards, and you can see the hotel’s great eye for decoration everywhere. Breakfast was nice too. It’s a very nice boutique hotel, with friendly, elegant staff.
