The Marais was a perfect base, with cafés everywhere and a lively atmosphere. It's a great neighborhood in its own right, and I'll recommend you to anyone I know heading to Paris. Merci Beaucoup! Hopefully my French will be better next time! My wife and I were very happy during our five nights here. Cecile welcomed us warmly, and the lobby was charming. Our room was small but cleverly arranged, with shelves that gave us plenty of space to unpack and relax. We only had breakfast here one morning, but the layout and food were great, and the whole experience felt charming.

The location was perfect for us, and really the strongest point of the stay. Without it, we'd have been sorely disappointed. We found several other hotels within a block or two that might be worth looking at. Our room was somewhat small and awkwardly laid out. Housekeeping was inconsistent: on some days they took towels that were hanging and didn't replace them. For a weeklong stay we got one very small bar of soap. There were two of us, but we got just one regular and one decaf coffee pod, and some days no pods at all. Daily cleaning was superficial. It seemed like staff weren't getting consistent training or direction.

We've visited São Paulo, New York, Miami, Montreal, Lisbon, and London over the last two years, and nowhere had accommodations as pleasant and comfortable as 9 Confidential in the Marais. We'll certainly return. From the moment we came through the door, the service was impeccable. Everyone seemed to love their jobs and shared that warmth with us as guests.

We were so lucky to find this place for our first trip with our five-month-old baby. We stayed in the Aurore sweet, probably the most spacious room I've ever had in Paris, and I thought it was well worth the money. A big thank you to all the staff, especially Nova, who made the visit memorable. She was lovely and treated our baby so well. I'd definitely come back on another Paris trip.
