Hôtel Les Jardins de La Villa

I paid for what I actually used, including a toblerone and salted cashews, which came to €51,80 including city tax at checkout. Then they added €17 for “peanuts and biscuits” I never touched. There’s no kettle, though they leave tea bags out for you. When I asked for hot water, reception told me to run the coffee machine without capsules, which gave me dirty, coffee-flavored water. One receptionist offered to bring tea water, disappeared for 1.5 hours, then said they got busy and forgot. At breakfast, a half-drunk man was harassing women while staff seemed oblivious. This place should be called Le Liar de la Villa or Le THIEF de la villa. Lazy, lying, and thieving, and proud of it. Avoid this scam circus. Even the peanuts aren’t safe.

We arrived on 18/04 for four nights. For a four-star hotel, this was no good. The bed’s headboard was peeling and made my face itchy, like an allergy. The minibar didn’t work, and we told them more than three times, but nothing was done.

The staff were charming, very friendly, helpful, and funny. Milos especially deserves a big thank you for his professionalism and positive attitude. The place was cute and very clean, and we looked forward to getting back to our room. It was a lovely stay, and I have nothing bad to say about Les Jardins de la Villa. I’d come again. After five other Paris visits, this feels like one of the best hotels in its price range, and I’d happily return or recommend it. I was lucky enough to check in early and get a balcony room, and that kindness got things off to a good start. The little details add up: room for luggage, plenty of outlets, a comfortable lounge chair, adjustable AC, L’Occitane shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel instead of a cheap all-in-one, plus a rain shower and well-placed mirrors. There’s also a TV with chromecast, relaxing amenities, and a backyard area. A breath of fresh air for Paris.
