6/10
The location was good, and the front desk staff were very good. Sadly, the building is old and needs substantial upgrades to justify the price. Our room was noisy, with the metro audible beneath the hotel all night, and the dining area was small and got crowded easily. The room was very small for three people, and the floor was seriously uneven. The bathroom was cramped too, and shower water leaked onto the floor because the shield wasn't large enough and there was no seal between the shower base and the lino.

The welcome from the staff was lovely, and the location was a real highlight. I wasn't happy about having to pay a deposit of around 100 euros, though. Also, the elevator made a lot of noise, especially at night, and that bothered me.

The beautiful view and helpful, pleasant staff were a big plus. I chose this hotel partly because it's close to both the metro and train station, which mattered to me. You get 4+ star service and accommodation for a 3 star price, making it a good base for visiting Paris.

It's a small, cozy hotel and very clean, with friendly staff who were always helpful. Breakfast was good, and although the restaurant isn't large, it has what you need. The location is very good too. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for our first night in Paris, and it was just right. The breakfast was delicious, though it wasn't included. The staff were superb, and the location made it easy to walk around; St. Lazare is only a couple of minutes away on foot. Our room had a queen bed and three twins, and it was very comfortable.
