Hotel Stanislas

I’ve been coming to Hotel Stanislaus since my first visit in 1986. It’s still clean, the breakfasts are good, and the price remains low. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating, and it’s great value. I laugh at reviews that look for things to complain about, even some positive ones. “Not too far from restaurants”? The hottest part of Boulevard Montparnasse is a five-minute walk away, and there are lovely little bistros even closer.

The bathrooms were tiny, and there was a lot of dust in the room. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone with allergies or asthma.

The location was great, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby and the metro just a minute away. My room was clean, had a lovely window for natural light, and the bed was comfortable. Room service was consistent, and I felt very safe. I loved this hotel. The receptionists were the nicest people I’ve ever met, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely little place, clean and tidy, run by lovely people who are friendly, helpful, and chatty. The rooms are a little small and may feel a bit tired to some, so don’t expect luxuries. If that’s what you’re after, go somewhere else. For a tight budget and easy access to Metro Lines 4 and 12, it’s a very good little Hotel. I wouldn’t advise it for people with mobility issues because the steps up to the rooms are steep and there’s no lift.
