The location made a perfect base for exploring Paris, right on lively streets lined with bakeries and great food options. HOY Hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a calm, welcoming feel. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.

The restaurant and breakfast were really tasty, and everything was vegan, so I didn’t have to worry about what I could eat. My room was small but very clean, and I had a great one-night stay. I’ll definitely come back. 💚

The street-facing windows on the 3rd floor didn’t block much noise. The street was a bit loud, though nothing crazy, and I slept okay with an earplug. There’s AC, but it only goes down to about 20C. The toiletries are eco refills and the soaps and shampoo smell lovely. The hotel connects to a calm, tasty plant-based restaurant. Breakfast was nice, if a little expensive for what we got. Montmartre and Sacre Coeur are pretty close. One unusual thing: you hand your key to staff when you leave, even though reception is open 24/7. I was confused when they asked for it, but the staff were nice, and it’s kind of convenient. Just be aware the contract says there’s a €120 fee if you lose the key.

The room’s decor, lighting, and switches were thoughtfully done, and it felt cosy and fresh. I liked opening the windows onto the quiet courtyard, and didn’t mind that there was no fridge or TV. The Italian shower was a good size, with strong pressure and hot water in about five seconds. The elevator was impressively large for Paris, new, and stable. There’s a flower shop by the entrance, and mindful messages around the hotel. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, especially Fanny, who helped us sort out airport transportation issues.
