Hôtel Korner Eiffel

Would definitely stay again. The room my girlfriend booked was spot on, with a lovely view over the streets. It was room 22, for the record. Everything was very clean and nicely presented, with a homely feel. The bathroom was decent too. My girlfriend mentioned a recent mastic smell, but I couldn’t smell it because of my sinuses, so it wasn’t a problem for me. The stay was hassle-free and very welcoming.

The staff were polite and smiley, and quick to help: they answered emails within 30 minutes and even sent WhatsApp messages to help us check in online and find the place. The hotel felt clean when we arrived, housekeeping came daily, and the room had a great view through giant windows. It was small, but had all the space we needed, and the air heater worked magic at this time of year. The self-service breakfast is set up in a small kitchen, which gave it a homely feel. We liked being able to get coffee any time during the day, even to take with us. The neighborhood is beautiful, with what you need within a five-minute walk: Starbucks, mac Donald’s, a pharmacy, supermarket, local shops, bars, a flower shop, hair salon, and souvenir shop. Buses make the hotel easy to reach, though there aren’t many direct metro lines, which wasn’t a problem. I saw negative comments, but they didn’t put me off booking for a New Year’s Eve trip with my husband, and I’m glad we did. Some reviews said the elevator was out of order, but it was working fine when we were there. It’s old, but functional. Don’t hesitate to book here!

We stayed here for our son’s birthday and took him to Disneyland. The staff were really lovely, and the free tea, coffee, and juice were a nice bonus. Our room was on the 7th floor. The lift worked, but it was extremely tight with two adults and a pram. Getting into the room was tight too, though the bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was nice overall. The main things I’d ask them to sort are the bathroom issues: there was mold near the shower and toilet, paint peeling off the wall, a loose tap, and water overflowed out of the shower because of its design. Even with those problems, I’d stay again for the good location and staff. I hope these small things get fixed, since they shouldn’t cost much, and they shouldn’t put new guests off. Thanks.

The Korner Eiffel team went above and beyond. Diane gave me great ideas for places to visit and restaurants serving the French dishes I wanted to try. Morgann helped with my Christmas shopping and called ahead to check that the gifts I was looking for were available. When my shower drain gave me trouble in the middle of the night, Fatim was so helpful.
