La Conversation

The standard room was really nice, and we had a comfortable, safe stay during Valentine's week. The staff were very polite. I left two things behind, and they even mailed them back to me in the UK. I'd definitely stay again.

Alessandro at the front desk made our stay especially memorable. When we had a small get-together with friends in the sunroom one evening, he helped us choose wine, brought glasses, and changed the music since we were the only guests there. He was kind and added a lot to the experience. La Conversation is in the residential 15th Arrondissement, a quieter area with quaint bakeries, bars, and restaurants nearby. It's a little away from central Paris, but the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Louvre are about a 10-minute drive away. The optional breakfast is a classic French spread with croissants, fresh cheeses and meats, juices, and fruit. It's mostly self-serve, though staff were always present and attentive. Complimentary coffee and tea are available all day from the coffee machine. The dining area was bright and clean, especially the sunroom. Fresh flowers and a thoughtful mix of photography and gastronomy books decorate the hotel. Our second-floor room was comfortable, clean, and fairly spacious. It had a beautiful Art Deco look with dark velvet green motifs, even better than the website photos. Check-in was prompt after a warm welcome at reception. For a relaxed boutique stay near the main sights, I'd absolutely recommend La Conversation Hotel.

The neighborhood was a highlight for us. There's a park just a few minutes away, and the street has restaurants, a fromager, a butcher/charcuterie, a wine shop/bar, and a small fruit and veg market. It felt like experiencing everyday Parisian life. The hotel is a little outside the center, but easy enough to reach. Inside, it's small with a quaint feel and amazing design. The rooms are compact but tastefully decorated in a distinctive style. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was brilliant, with a nice selection in a beautiful conservatory-like space. We loved our stay and highly recommend it ❤️

It was a really romantic stay for two. The hotel is charming and elegant, and the rooms are small but tasteful. It's a lovely, quaint place not far from the heart of Paris. The location works well if you're happy to walk to the sights, but it may not suit you if getting around on foot is difficult.
