Give yourself an extra night here if you can. Staying in this home lets you experience Paris in a way that's hard to put into words. The place feels magical and unlike anywhere else. Wherever you come from, you'll leave feeling a little Parisian and already wishing you could return.

We were a family of four, two adults and kids aged 11 and 14, and stayed for three nights in the lower apartment. It was a good size for us, and the indoor courtyard had loads of natural light. The historic building has beautiful stonework throughout, plus amenities that are hard to find in a place like this: a heated indoor pool, sauna, and fitness room. Local shops, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Seine are just around the corner. Anne was friendly and helpful, and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The family who runs the place made us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed our stay, and the location was perfect for exploring Paris.

La maison d'Anne was the highlight of our Paris trip. Anne is warm and interesting, and her home is full of much-loved antiques and books, a charming jumble that feels like old Paris. It's a wonderfully unusual place, though definitely not a luxury hotel. Expect mismatched, well-worn chairs and apartments adapted from their original use. If you visit Anne's kitchen on the sixth floor, she might offer you a hot coffee. The six-story house is arranged around a welcoming music and breakfast room. There's also a pool in a grotto built in the Middle Ages. Anne knows Paris so well that she can pick out the right restaurants and attractions for you without making a fuss. We felt lucky to find this hidden spot in the heart of Paris and would come back in an instant. Thank you, Anne!
