Hôtel Le Littré

The location is perfect, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, so many thanks to them. Breakfast was average, though. The first room was in very poor shape: old, musty, with dirty walls, a strange smell, and a carpet that smelled damp. The bathroom was old and smelled unpleasant too. I have allergies and couldn’t have stayed there; it wasn’t worth even half the price. After I asked, they moved me to a much nicer room with wooden floors.

We spent a lovely week at Hotel Le Littré for my husband’s 80th birthday and have no regrets. The hotel is fine and very centrally located, and our rooms were quiet, nicely decorated, and had beds we slept wonderfully in. Breakfast was excellent, with something for everyone in the family. The staff were consistently professional and clearly well trained. A few small repairs would help. The wall by the room entrance had a crack, the phone didn’t work for our whole stay, and the scale needed new batteries and never worked. Even so, we had a very pleasant, relaxing visit.

What makes Hôtel Le Littré special is its people. The staff were superb and so helpful. The hotel is well furnished and breakfast was good, too. They let us check in at any time and leave our bags, and on departure day we could store them while we explored Paris, then collect them when we were ready.

We stayed in a spacious, luxurious suite with a balcony facing the Eiffel. The hotel is large, and service was courteous and professional. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff there were especially lovely. It’s close to Saint-Germain, the most elegant district in Paris.
