Le Petit Beaumarchais Hotel & Spa

I’ve been staying here from January 31st 2026, through February 6th, and I’m so disappointed I’m looking for a cheap hotel elsewhere so I can leave early, even without a refund. I’m in room 402. My birthday was part of this solo trip, and the hotel showed zero remorse about any of this. The spa is broken and they explicitly told me it won’t be fixed until mid March. I asked to see it, but they said it was a construction site. They wouldn’t refund me. My TV doesn’t allow streaming, which was buried in the fine print and wasn’t apparent. There’s only one English-language channel, the French news. There’s an elevator and a kettle in the room, but the coffee is instant and they provide only black tea. I’ve now rebooked at another spa hotel in a better area for 1500, less than half of what I paid here. I’m looking forward to redoing my birthday, over valentines day, and the new place still cost WAY CHEAPER. It has multiple pools, sauan, steam ect and smart TVs, plus coffee machines in the rooms so guests don’t rack up extra expenses. I don’t know what I was thinking when I booked here. The reviews on their website are verified according to THEIR standards.

The front desk guy we saw every night always had great dinner suggestions, and the staff were friendly. Our rooms were very clean and updated. We were offered a relaxing 50 minute spa session with a salt water float pool and sauna, and the downstairs bar had a nice cocktail selection for ending the evening. The hotel is right by the subway and surrounded by good restaurants. We had a great stay and would happily come back soon.

We loved the little boutique feel of Le Petit Beaumarchais, especially the bar, where we could sip champagne and people watch in the evenings. Le Marais was new to me, but it felt cute, safe, and easy to get around, and having Bastille metro right outside the hotel was so convenient. All the front desk, breakfast, and bar staff were fantastic. One night, the bartender chatted with us about drinks and fun nearby places to check out. The rooms were comfortable but pretty small, as you’d expect in Paris. Our bed was a bit small and not especially comfortable, though it was still a nice place to fall asleep after exploring. We loved the big shower with its rainfall head, and the chocolates and welcome note were a lovely treat. We stayed two nights at the start of our France and Italy trip, and I’d recommend the hotel if you want a great spot in Le Marais.

It’s a pleasant little hotel, set away from the thick of Paris’s bustle but still close enough for a short trip into it. There’s a tube stop two minutes from the door, plus some amazing restaurants nearby. We’d highly recommend staying here, and we’ll be back.
