There are lots of places to eat nearby, and it’s a quick walk to the Louvre. The location made it feel worth every penny, and I’d stay here again. The room and bathroom were small, as is much of Paris, but the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and there were no odd smells. The staff were very pleasant. I’m judging it by the affordable price of a 3 star hotel and how nervous I felt after reading earlier reviews. For what it cost, I was more than happy.

You can walk easily to the Louvre, Palais Garnier, and Place Vendôme, with plenty of restaurants and wine bars close by. The staff were very nice, and someone was available in the building around the clock. They provided complimentary water, juice, tea, and coffee. My room was small, but since I was alone, that was fine, and it was very clean. The bathroom was even smaller. There’s a tiny elevator to the 6th floor, though if your room is on the 7th, you’ll need to take one more flight of stairs. The price seemed reasonable for the location and room size, so I’m not complaining.

The bathroom was awful. There were heavy stains in both the bath and toilet, and the shower sprayed water everywhere. The extractor didn’t work, leaving the room very steamy, and there was mould all over the bathroom.

The location was great, and it was extremely clean and quiet. The rooms were small, with no view.

The location was the only reason I’d give this place two stars. I wouldn’t stay again. Our room had no fire alarm, smelled strongly of mould, and the shower drain kept giving off a foul odour. There wasn’t even an extractor fan in the bathroom. The room was too hot, with centrally controlled AC and no way to adjust the temperature, and the sheets kept coming untucked. Online check-in and the digital key were useless since staff stopped us and made us check in in person anyway.
