Nouvel Hotel Paris 18

The area didn’t feel very safe, and I won’t come back. The hotel itself is old and poorly kept. Our room was next to the elevator, which was really annoying at night, and the bathroom was so small I couldn’t close the door while using it. The sheets were dirty and weren’t changed. When we arrived at night, the windows were wide open and bugs had filled the room.

We’d booked five nights but left after the first. My boyfriend was covered in bedbug bites, and the rooms were awful: small, dark, and squalid, nothing like the pictures. At least they refunded us.

There were bugs in the room, and the bathroom was much too small. The hotel’s old enough that it comes across as dirty. It’s convenient for the train station, but there are better choices nearby. The staff were friendly enough, though they didn’t seem concerned. Google says there’s air conditioning, but that isn’t true.

We booked a room with a bathtub, but got one with mold and a shower that dripped. We showed them screenshots of our booking, and they still wanted to keep our money. After three hours of arguing, they finally agreed to charge us for one night and refund the rest. The staff were very unfriendly.
